I hate this place
If you're ambitious, you can take on any responsibility you like. You won't get a promotion for it, but you can write it on your resume.
The majority are incompetent. We're chronically hiring because we can't find good people to fill our roles. Upper management says things like, "Most people are working 50-hour weeks anyway, so..." Diversity in leadership "just takes time."
Hire women and minorities and put them in leadership positions. Don't worry about experience. The experience of your current managers isn't helping them.

From the first phone interview to the offer letter was over 3 months. The internal recruiter was fresh off the boat and wasn't sure about the hiring process at all. He was hard to understand, had broken English and spoke too softly to be heard.

One phone screen. Flew me to Philadelphia for face-to-face. Had 5 rounds. Most of the time, two people interviewed me. Had product and engineering in the interview.
