Pros

4 days from the office, 1 day remote.

Cheap internet and premium TV (~$30 a month).

Good healthcare company (BlueCross).

Dental insurance (Meh, $1500 max a year).

On-site gym.

Cons

I work in a remote area where there are few employers. If you work and live in South Jersey, you won't have a lot of options if you want to leave your job. Consider an area where there are a lot of business clusters.

Salaries are below market rate, and the performance of engineers is based on data center calls.

There are a lot of contractors in the company, and most of them are low-quality engineers. Some of them fake their credentials in order to get a contract position.

When you have a high retention rate, it slows down company growth.

Advice to Management

Try to lock down your engineers instead of making them unhappy with below-market-rate wages.
