Fairly relaxed work environment. Lots of tech toys if you're into that.
Nickel and dimed every step of the way during conversion. Lowballing versus the contract, letters that don't contain what's discussed, "errors" in offer letters, HR people passing the buck on broken promises. So many onboarding issues, I couldn't get access to healthcare during the enrollment period.
Look for my replacement ;)
The interviewing process for this position was very straightforward. There was a phone interview, and then an in-person interview with a university recruiter at first, and then my direct manager.
The first screening, then the technical interview, is about our project and what kind of tools we used. They asked situation-based questions. A small coding test is given. Previous coding experience.
The hiring process for me was very easy, as I was already making a big impact for the team as a contractor. The recruiter was very easy to work with and stayed in touch with me over a couple of weeks until the offer was official. They were flexible
