Process
Went through one screening and four rounds of interviews with Confluent.
These were pretty standard: systems-based concurrency questions, system optimizations, and design rounds.
The interviewers didn't seem very open to creative (and more optimal) approaches, remaining stuck on de facto methods often found in textbooks.
