Perfect alignment in business direction. Engineers make things that will be deployed and used by millions. Even though you might not agree with its direction, the company moves and evolves constantly (impressive for a company of this size).
Product Owners wield the hammer to bang everyone into their vision. Everyone's work vector gets aligned.
Engineers don't wield this hammer, i.e., get ready to be banged!
Top-down decision-making. No technical leadership. Resolving engineering debt is never a top business priority.
