Let me tell you, CK recruiters are unprofessional in the way they conduct themselves and even in their emails. There's no respect for you.

The recruiter contacted me, and we had an initial call. He set up an initial phone screen.

I asked the recruiter what the format of the phone screen would be. He answered generically, "It'd be DSA questions, so prepare accordingly."

Coming to my phone screen, the manager who was supposed to take the interview didn't join, and some mid-level engineer joined after 10 minutes. Instead of asking DSA questions, he copy-pasted some long Java design question which had 3 sub-questions. I got 2 of them right. But, for the 3rd one, it was not passing the test the interviewer created because the interviewer himself was not of Java background and got confused about float and double.

2 days later, as usual, a general email of rejection. I told the recruiter what had happened and when I could apply again, but didn't get any reply.

I have gone through the FAANG interview process, and they have recruiters who are so professional and friendly. They provide feedback, and if something goes wrong, they'd try to help you. But CK is no match for FAANG when it comes to the recruiting process.
