Typical software engineer interview process. A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn. After a couple of emails and a quick phone call, we scheduled a tech phone screen. They got back the very next day to schedule an onsite interview. I replied with my preferred date, and they were very kind to schedule my preferred time. The onsite was for about five hours, back to back, and started at around 1 PM. So no lunch, a bit unusual but not a big problem. The interviewers were friendly and smart. However, after the interview, I followed up every week for a few months hoping to hear feedback, but absolutely no word. This is unacceptable in my books. Even if a candidate performed poorly, letting them know at least the final decision is important.
