After an interesting conversation with the recruiter, I was scheduled to meet with the hiring manager. I was very excited for this opportunity and came prepared to talk about my experience and learn more about the role.

The interviewer seemed uninterested from the beginning and didn’t even bother with the initial pleasantries. He was clearly bored and distracted.

I knew right then and there I wouldn’t move forward. After being ghosted by them, I reached out and received a generic rejection. I feel that from the moment I went into the interview, I never had a chance and was just wasting my time.
