Company perks: good laptops and hardware. Not much else.
Worst company I've ever worked for. Absolutely toxic.
Hours, stuffing too many points into sprints. You complain to HR about manager's behavior, and HR doesn't take it seriously.
Flexible time off? Sure, if you aren't swamped with work.
Upper management avoids conflict resolution, particularly when it comes to their horrible middle management. HR gives a patronizing review of your issue and puts it on you as to whether you could have resolved the issue, even when painted into a corner.
And upon speaking to several other employees across the two teams I dealt with, it seems this is a trend among them.
Make sure complaints are taken seriously.
Secondly, have a quarterly and anonymous review 'up' system, where the management bonus structure isn't just based on delivery but also how the individual contributors rate their manager. Without this, it turns into a dictatorship, and as it turns out, several teams are led by exactly that.
The interview questions were of medium difficulty, but the interview experience was nice. I had a very pleasant conversation during the interview, with open-ended questions going both ways. I hope to interview again some other time.
5-stage process, including a screening call, three interviews, and an extensive take-home exercise. The take-home exercise was technical but manageable. Only the final interview was hostile; earlier interviews were thorough but fair.
Good interview process. HR was very approachable, though was not able to clarify if the tech round was actually a coding round. It turned out to be a Q&A. No DSA round, just brush up on the basics and you should be good.
