Remote work is nice for any company.

If you are reading this, please DO NOT join this company. Listed below are my issues with this place:

• Undefined, unambitious intern project. I wasn't even given a project outline or milestone.
• Your mentor (champion) is here just for a paycheck and will NOT help you out, reply to your questions, show up to scheduled meetings in a timely manner, or at all.
• HM projects indifference during interviews and will NOT give you a fair interview if they are not in the mood that day. That's just a waste of time for both parties.
• The so-called "mid-level" engineers on the team make mistakes that even I, an intern, can catch. That is just plain embarrassing.
• I remember on the first meeting with my skip manager, one of the first questions he demanded I answer was "Where are you from?". I have a feeling he wouldn't have asked that question if I had a different skin color.
• When I gave feedback at the end of my internship, their tone became hostile. I don't think they are capable of accepting any criticism.

I implore you not to join this cesspool. You are valued and you deserve to work at a place that can rise to meet your enthusiasm and empower you to solve challenging problems. These people are just not it! Please don't believe any HR response to this review either; they will do anything to save face.
