Process

I had a technical interview with 3 contractors from CVS. The interview was a bunch of iOS domain knowledge and a coding portion. I nailed the coding challenge perfectly and did really well on the domain portion. I was told I was going to go to the next round, and CVS never got back to me, nor the recruiter. I feel like they are just interviewing for fun and not serious about hiring. Very unprofessional, very frustrating. They haven't even responded to the recruiter's emails. Don't waste your time for contact roles.

Pros: I worked with some great people.

Cons: They're moving in the wrong direction with tech decisions, pushing forward quickly with little regard for quality or long-term thinking. Lots of mobile engineers work too much -- nights and weekends, even. This makes little sense since you can't quickly push a production fix to the App Store or Play Store; there's a whole review process that slows things down. So working production support over a weekend as a mobile engineer makes zero sense.
