I tend to favor interview processes that leave little to the imagination. Conversational interviews are fine, but you can't truly assess a candidate's abilities until you see the candidate's work product.

CVS Aetna's interview process, for me, terminated after the second interview. The conversation was amicable enough, but I felt as though we were talking past each other. Too much ambiguity that would've evaporated had we actually dug into a dev challenge.
