You get to build great rapport with regulars who will learn your name and are often friendly. Depending on where you are in the store, it's easy work.
If you decide to go to school while you're working there, they WILL let you go, but they'll do it in the most underhanded way possible.
I finally went back to school after working to help support an ailing family member, and they just refused to give me hours until I fell off payroll. Shameful!
Two half-days of class a week is not a restrictive schedule. Please don't treat it as such.
