I applied through another source.

HR Interview: A brief initial conversation with HR to discuss background, motivations, and the role.

Technical Interview (On-site):

First, I was asked to describe a feature I had developed in the past, including technical and design considerations.
Then, I was given a system design/algorithm question: how to efficiently review files from an S3 bucket based on a provided API.

Live Coding Challenge (2 hours): A hands-on programming task completed on-site. The solution had to be implemented in either Python or JavaScript.

Pros: The people are friendly, eager to help should you require help. They are brilliant and there is so much to learn from each and every one of the colleagues. There's much work to be done, and you won't get bored.

Cons: I was really struggling looking for cons and constructive criticism. The Tel-Aviv office is located in a sub-optimal location and may be an inconvenience for some people. That is the worst thing that I could come up with.

Pros: I find it difficult to describe how Cyera ticks all the boxes that were important to me before joining the company (and still are): excellent people with no ego, an amazing product that I strongly believe in, and great TC. I have a great sense of meaning and hope that we will become big someday.

Cons: Cyera is still a rapidly growing company, so the pace can sometimes be intense. While there's no expectation for weekend or late-night work, the workload can feel demanding compared to larger, more established tech companies (e.g. GAMPA).
