I've been here four years, and these have been both the most challenging and most rewarding years of my career. There is always an opportunity to learn something new here, which I value more than anything else in a job.
Databricks invests in its people and has helped me grow in my professional goals so far. I feel like I have a long future here, as there's still so much we, as a company and I personally, can accomplish.
The company has great leadership and clarity of vision. The products themselves are truly best in class, and the product velocity is impressive, especially given our scale.
Maybe most importantly, the people are great to work with. There are a ton of smart and accomplished people here to learn from, and there is a great culture of teamwork, humility, and support.
The company has grown so fast it has outpaced some of its systems and processes. More can be done to centralize/index information to make it easier to find answers to questions as they come up. And not necessarily a bad thing per se, but expectations are very high and the work is challenging, so the level of effort required is high.
Continue to cultivate the culture of transparency, honest debate, and teamwork!
