I received the phone call for my initial phone screen interview. However, after I answered, DataDog immediately hung up.
I tried calling back but only got the system. I sent three follow-up emails, including one that cc'ed the director of the group, but received no response.
My theory is that the interviewer reviewed my resume as he was calling me. Upon seeing some disqualification (likely that I was a recent graduate of a bootcamp), he hung up, concluding that no explanatory message was necessary.
I understand that the company has its rules, as it should. However, the callousness with which the HR representative dealt with this situation is sickening and unbecoming of a successful startup.
Are you willing to deal with our rudeness?
