The whole process was quick.
I applied online on their website and received an email from one of the engineers asking to schedule a phone interview in the next couple of days.
The interview was for an hour and divided into two parts:
The first part involved detailed questions on some of your projects.
The second part had two technical questions to solve through Collabedit.
Q1. Find the character in a string with the maximum number of consecutive repetitions.
Q2. There are three streams (unlimited in size). Each returns an integer which is greater than the last integer from its own stream, and each stream is independent of the other streams. Print the values in increasing order from all the streams combined.
Example: stream.read() // returns an int. The next time read() is called, it will return an integer >= to the previous value.
s1: 1, 3, 8, 10 ... s2: 1, 4, 5, 6, 12 ... s3: 3, 7, 8, 9 ...
Output: 1, 1, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
