The classic interview process begins with a call from a recruiter, followed by a technical test and homework. This is then succeeded by a full panel of four interviews conducted over a half-day.
The homework is very time-consuming and offers little to no added value. It is validated without constructive feedback. If a doubt arises about a specific skill at the end of the process, the homework is not revisited to confirm or refute it.
I consider this a negative experience due to the significant amount of time spent on the process and the fact that one interviewer was clearly too junior to conduct interviews. However, I want to mention that all other interviewers I interacted with were very knowledgeable and kind.
