Pros: My colleagues were nice people, doing the best they could under difficult circumstances.

Cons: I was the victim of an abusive manager who constantly manipulated, gaslit, and verbally abused me. When I told him what he was doing and professionally asked him to stop constantly criticizing me in front of the team, he responded with a PIP made up of entirely false allegations. I had receipts showing they were all lies. HR did not care and sided with him. Since then, I’ve developed severe depression, crippling anxiety, and have been unable to find decent work in this economy. I had a great career and was very successful before coming to Datadog. This company has ruined my life.

Pros: Lots of benefits, employee culture is great, feels secure.

Cons: Not much negative to say.

Pros: Good technical challenges, working alongside industry-proven engineers, and tons to learn. The company's choices are clear and in-touch with reality.

Cons: Return-to-work policies (n days a week). Upper management is not evenly geographically distributed, and I'd be surprised to see them at my location.
