The Datadog recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. She did a great job learning about my background and also gave me an introduction to the Datadog engineering organization. It was an excellent match, which was a good sign.

I was already pretty far along in the interviewing process with other companies at that time, but the Datadog interview team was willing to skip phone screening and fast-track me to a virtual on-site interview.

Everyone I met during the on-site was brilliant, yet humble and friendly. I enjoyed all the conversations. Through them, I could feel Datadog has a great, engineering-driven culture, and its engineering team has a very high caliber.

Although, in the end, I decided to go with other opportunities, the Datadog people made such a great impression on me, and I kept wondering what it would be like to work with them. :)
