I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months.
The process felt like dealing with a large company full of genuinely smart people. The preparation material was very insightful and made it possible to prepare as well as I could. Everyone I spoke with was kind, patient, and understanding. The only downside was the length: seven interviews plus one with the recruiter, and about six months from the first contact to the offer. Overall, I would definitely recommend the process.
