The interviews consisted of:
The whole process was led by the recruiter that kept providing me inputs about previous steps, as well as guidance for the next steps - things to cover, points to discuss, what to get ready for, what are interviewers looking for in each step. Eventually I met the team as well. The process was probably one of the best I've ever had in my life.
Implement a tail stream processing mechanism. Tail consists of either queries (a set of words) or a log line. You have to output an ACK for a query line with an ID, and for a log line - print all query IDs that this log line contains all of their query words.
Implement a system where you can add tags to some tag store, including duplicates. Then you can query existing tags by prefix, and need to provide matches with count since it supports duplicates.
Design a web service implementing a canvas composed of tiles with a layout of 1000x1000. Users can "place" a single tile by setting its color every 5 minutes, and the board is displayed in real time, meaning each user can see the new layout as soon as any other user places their tiles.
