Very accessible and, as interviews go, enjoyable!
The recruiters are very upfront about the interviews; they prepare you for the content very well.
First up is a coding interview. They say to practice medium-level LeetCode questions. I did it twice because they let me try it a second time after a health situation. They are 45-50 minutes on a problem, a LeetCode question but styled towards what Datadog does, so there's a little more coding around the setup. First was string matching, second was sliding window.
Then you get through that to the final round of three interviews: one more coding, a system design, and a behaviors and values interview.
Coding is similar to the last one (the advice is just practice LeetCode medium again); this one was more like a backtracking/DP problem with some interesting setup.
System design is standard; they zoom in on components and ask about tradeoffs.
Behaviors and values centers around a project you have worked on and explaining it really well, while demonstrating the values they are looking for (again, recruiters prepare you really well for what will come up).
