Process

The interview process included:

  • An initial screening with someone from Human Resources.
  • Code exercises with an engineer.
  • Sharing a couple of open-source projects instead of a take-home exercise.
  • A series of four interviews: another code challenge, a systems design interview, a management interview, and a general culture fit interview with a director.
  • Four informal post-process discussions to fine-tune the team match.

The process went quite well. Everyone was friendly and genuinely interested in what I had to say. I had many opportunities to ask questions and "reverse" the interviews. HR systematically gave detailed feedback and kept me in the loop all along. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a well-run process.
