I applied online and then got an interview scheduled.
The HR interviewer was late and seemed exhausted. The first question was which country I am from and if I could work as a contractor.
I said no, and they stated they could only offer a contractor option for that position at that time. I found it a waste of time, as this could have been a checkbox in the application form. The interview ended after 5 minutes.
A few months later, I was approached by another recruiter who said they had an open position with an employment option. I expressed my interest but never heard back.
I just don't feel I can trust this way of interviewing.
Where do you live?
