Deel asks for a typical take-home task. They provide a list of requirements and then a vague description stating that going above and beyond what they ask will be seen as positive (but not required).
This last part is a complete lie, as only solving what is asked will net you a rejection with an explanation that you did not do additional work to demonstrate your seniority. They expect you to waste your time.
Questions
Take-home task asking to build an API with certain endpoints. Additional work, other than the API, is supposedly optional but in reality, it is not. Waste as much time on this as possible if you wish to work for them. Even then, an offer is not guaranteed. They will not value your time.
