Cons: Limited opportunity for promotion, and those who have been promoted are often based on being good technicians, not leaders. Very poor leadership. Frequent layoffs.

Dell promotes and retains based on tenure, not performance. Internal moves are often denied, and promotions may be blocked by indirect leadership. Raises are rare and often track behind inflation. New policy actively punishes remote workers. If your pay and benefits get too inflated, you get laid off.
