My interview with Dell Technologies was confusing. I recently interviewed with Dell for a fully remote job. After the initial screening round, they took about two weeks to schedule the one-on-one rounds with the team, which took around a week.
During the process, I received an email stating they would take a few weeks to communicate the outcome. Since I received another offer immediately after the Dell interviews, I tried to get in touch with the hiring HR but could never reach them. It felt like they do not care to communicate with candidates they do not wish to proceed with.
It has been over a month since I interviewed, and there was never any communication from HR regarding the outcome. After about two to three weeks, I visited my account out of curiosity and was able to see the status that they were not proceeding with my application.
I find this rather unprofessional and confusing. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this from a company as large as Dell.
I was asked whether I was comfortable working with Python, encryption, and other storage technologies.
