I was interviewed at Dell EMC on December 8, 2018. Most importantly, I was not prepared for the interview. I received a call the day before from a consultant. When I tried to refuse, I was kind of brainwashed into attending the interview.

My first round was UI. I was questioned on AngularJS, HTML, and CSS, all of which I am not comfortable with. I informed the interviewer that I am good at back-end. He made me wait in a corner and, going a few inches ahead, made very bad comments about me.

When he returned, I told him I wanted to leave. He said they would like to interview me on my back-end skills and made me wait outside. I was called in for the second round in five minutes.

Now, a different person conducted my second round. He mistook me for someone else and left in the middle, and my interviewer for the second round changed. Even after hearing from me and the interviewer panel, he continued with his questions on Angular.

After a couple of questions with no answer, he moved to Java and asked me about OOP concepts. Even though I was answering them correctly, he tricked me into feeling I was wrong and told me straight to my face, “You are five and a half years experienced, and you are struggling with basics itself.” He didn't even give me a chance to explain what I knew.

I understand that interviewing someone can be a very tedious task and it's frustrating sometimes, but you do not need to be so rude and hurt someone's feelings. I started crying literally on the spot after being treated so badly. I couldn't stand being in that room anymore and left the place immediately.
