I went through the following interview rounds:

• One telephonic round
• One face-to-face round (Technical + Managerial)

I did not have an HR round. I am originally from Chennai and interviewed at Dell in Bangalore. I was verbally confirmed that I was selected for the position on Thursday, July 2nd. The HR mentioned that the HR round could be conducted telephonically and I could expect a call on Friday, July 3rd. However, I have not received any call to date. Four days have passed with no HR round and no offer letter.

I am worried about the verbal commitment given by the HR. Has anyone faced a similar situation where a verbal offer commitment was made, but no HR round or offer letter was received? Or will the HR round and offer letter be delayed?

What should I do in this situation?

They were basically checking the stability of the person by asking the same question again and again. They appeared cool.
