Phone call with the hiring manager, covering technical questions related to the job and past experience.
Questions included: How does a hash map work?
Then, there were 5 interviews onsite.
After that, the result came in.
Each interview covers a different area:
Q. Algorithms: How will you sort an infinite-length string of alphabets?
Q. Puzzles: Orange and apples, and a mix of two. Guess what is in what box after just one guess.
Q. Design a system to store and sort incoming data of integers so that it will be easy for searching and finding numbers below max or greater than.
Q. Past experience?
Q. Linux-related knowledge?
Q. Role-specific: If it's testing, then about testing. About the security of applications, etc.
