The working level (Director and below) has a good bunch of smart people. However, above the Director level (specifically Executive Director and VP level), there are a bunch of egomaniacs who believe they walk on water. They would rather protect their budget and role than do the right thing for the company.
Take a hard look at all the VPs running that company. The problem is there!
