Average pay and benefits. Good flex time.

Cons

The work culture embraces a "divide and conquer" mentality. It does not embrace intellectual reasoning and sound logic. Rather, the leader of the pack has the final say, often based on politics, not science.

There is an extremely dense political atmosphere. You either play the game and brown nose management, and pray that if the stars are all aligned, you'll get the promotion you have been hoping for, or you remain at the same level for years.

There is a total lack of talent management. It is a non-intellectually challenging environment. Anyone with higher degrees is advised to avoid working there. Managers do not know how to supervise staff with higher degrees.

Advice to Management

The culture needs a total overhaul. The zero-sum game played by employees and management alike is detrimental to the company, stockholders, and technology innovation. Why is no one embracing the win-win strategy?

In fact, there's a total absence of technology innovation and incentive for employees to work in the best interest of the company. There is a complete lack of meritocracy, people management skills, and talent management skills.

Change the culture (from top to bottom; especially the top!) to a win-win culture from an internal zero-sum game culture, and you'll see the company turn around.
