Great place for a career!
I can speak from an engineer's point of view:
- There are many challenging and diverse projects to work on. It is also easy to move laterally between teams.
- Because of how big the company is, there are many smart and experienced people to work with and learn from. Resources are abundant. As a result, this is a good place for entry-level people beginning their careers.
- Relatively flexible work hours.
- Great benefits and pay.
There are downsides to being such a large company, though this is unavoidable to a certain extent:
- Decisions and direction can take a long time. This can be frustrating.
- Cube farm environment.
