Pros

WFH Flexible Timings EMC was heaved when compared to Dell. After the merger, Dell politics and policies affected the good EMC employees from top to down.

Cons
  • Worthless manager in between.
  • No technical knowledge.
  • Less respect for individuals.
  • Network issues still exist after 1.5 years of merger.
  • No sitting arrangements; they are just hiring without any plan and playing with careers.
  • Never join Dell; it has already spoiled all the good parts of EMC.
Advice to Management

Bring in new, honest, and fresh managers and engineers, and stop the partiality of treating legacy EMC employees differently.

  • Learn from how EMC used to run the business.
  • Treat engineers better than managers, as they are useless entities in current Dell EMC and the biggest blockers for any deliveries, and also the primary reason behind any resource leaving Dell.
