Pros
  • Flexible work timings.
  • Unlimited WFH (depends upon your manager).
  • Great place to learn new technologies.
Cons
  • Typical managers (depends upon team and project).
  • Poor appraisals.
  • No bonus.
  • No appreciation awards.
  • Leads and managers play dirty politics to save their positions.
  • Helpless HRs. For namesake, they will follow the company and manager review process. Nothing will happen after that.
  • Managers overcommit with their superiors and then pressurize team members to deliver.
  • Can call a person anytime to reply US mails.
  • No transparency in the process.
  • No one will take responsibility to give KT to new members. The intention is just to save their positions by creating dependency.
  • Will feel a biased environment within the team. Privileges for one member will be indiscipline for others.
  • Leads and managers suppress your ideas with demotivating comments.
  • If you are planning for any certification or course, then be ready for a ton of questions. The intention is just not to grant the request.
Advice to Management

Managers intend to support their team members. If it's a big deal, then sit in the corner and mind your own stuff. Don't always be in business to find a chance to taunt your team members.

A 1-minute delay in meetings, WFH due to unavoidable errands, their office timings, etc., etc.

If your team is delivering on time with quality, this is what everyone needs.

Most of the time, people leave companies just because of their managers. This is a very big issue in IT. Then those skilled employees join their competitors, and everyone is aware of the rest.

If team members are saying something about their manager, then conceal it seriously.
