Releases are a pain. As a result of a lack of automation (in my project, and in one hundred others), employees end up working late nights and weekends. I've noticed it here and in other big organizations: people who suck up to managers rise high in the ranks. People who really work hard and are good technically are used and not really appreciated.
Managers may have some pet employees, but that should not affect or blind them to identifying and appreciating other employees who are actually good at their work.
The application submission was screened. I then had a verbal interview via phone, assessment tests, and in-person interviews. It was quite informative as well as tense; it was quick.
It is easy. They do not trouble you by asking irrelevant questions, unlike Oracle. But they stick to the subject and will ask questions in depth. It is better to be good at technical skills so that you will not miss the opportunity.
