If you are not in their hardware or cloud group, your division is less important, and business decisions are made for you if they interface with the hardware side of the house. It is a slow-moving company. It takes an act of Congress to get a decision made. In today's world, they just move too slowly compared to other IT-based companies, i.e., Google, Amazon, or eBay.
