Pros

A good way for the young to get their feet wet in the technology world.

More working and learning opportunities than an employee can absorb.

Cons

No consistent management.

As soon as you get used to one manager, a new one is assigned.

Dell does not value mentorship. No manager is ever rewarded for the improvement or progress of an employee. Managers' compensation is based on how much productivity they can squeeze out of their direct reports.

Advice to Management

Stop promoting sycophants.

Only reward supervisors who grow and nurture their direct reports.
