Very talented individuals and supervisors. Much work done to cultivate a culture of quality, morality, and innovation. Flexible work environments with the ability to work from home in many cases. Politics at a minimum (they are people, so there is some, but it's so much less than elsewhere). They really try to reward ideas and hard work.
Like any large, old company, Dell spends a lot of time buried in red tape.
4-5 years ago, you stated an internal goal to act more like a startup. That initiative died pretty quickly, but it was a good idea. Go back and revisit this.
