• Intra-company moves are welcomed in general; of course, things may depend on one's state in their current position.
• Great work environment (friendly co-workers and managers) and culture; of course, this may depend on what product/engineering team one is working on. This is based on my own experience.
• Employee discounts on Dell products (e.g., consumer laptops).

After the merger, there have been a series of re-orgs (I think as one might expect in this kind of big merger), and some legacy EMC employees have been let go. Things seem to be more stabilized now.

I have always had great communication and relationships with my direct (talent) managers.
