Pros
  • Flexibility (you can basically work from home anytime you want)
  • Great medical allowance
  • Career growth (training/certification is sufficient)
Cons
  • An extremely hierarchical structure where leadership prevents the improvisation of ideas.
  • OT/transport allowance that has not been changed in years.
  • Workforce reductions that happen anytime, causing everyone to secure their jobs and not conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Work-life balance that is not applicable for support roles (no OT can be claimed due to COVID).
  • Collaboration across different teams is the WORST.
Advice to Management

Listen, listen, and listen to the lower managerial role team members. We need a change to the legacy leadership structure to be simpler and more transparent for innovation to happen.

It's time to review the OT/transport benefits.
