Work-life balance and some still remote spots.

They will not promote internally without C-suite approval for funding if the gap between current pay and the next title is too big.

This means most teams have people who won't ever be promoted unless they leave and come back.

Advice to Management

Promote internally and keep salaries up with inflation.
