Great experience so far, but promotion underwhelming
Happen to luck into a super team staffed with very knowledgeable and kind folks. As well, my supervisor is effective and compassionate. Plenty of opportunities to up-skill.
Open-ended problem-solving, etc.
Got promoted after 2+ years. The only change was an increase in salary that matches inflation. The only "gain" is a change in "rank", but who cares about that? Show me the money.
Don't insult employees with pitiful promotions.
