Lots of acquisitions, so numerous changes with merging and overlapping technologies with the new software group. People who have been there for years tend to expect new folks to figure things out all by themselves. The QA team is very strict about how much time they give to new people who need to use their resources to run the tools in different environments. The company is run by QA. Conservative management.
Hire managers who can make people feel good about themselves if they are doing good work.
