One of the greatest things in this line of work is being able to go home at the end of the day and not worry about what is going to occur while I am not there. In my past employment, I worried about what was happening and was often called in on off-time.
Dell is fairly competitive in pay, but likely not the highest in the market. However, pay is only half of the equation; one must also consider Quality of Life, which, in my estimation, is great at Dell.
Continue doing what you are doing. I have seen that Dell holds its managers accountable for having a good culture. In my case, I think my manager is the best!
Nice headquarters with a good design team and management. Got multiple offers but did not like Austin since housing is expensive, and Dell doesn't really design much since vendors do that.
