Lots of resources and access to work with any team you want. Managers are very approachable and want to see you succeed. Competitive pay relative to the location. Many of the employees are experts in their fields and are invaluable if you have questions you want to ask.

• You must often create your own projects.
• The majority of the employees are much older than the interns.
• The culture is more corporate than most tech companies.

Before the summer begins, have a meeting to determine strong and meaningful projects that an intern could work on. Create a completed spec of what the project would entail. Also, make sure that this project would not ultimately be redundant with another solution Dell has.
