Process
The interview process started once my profile was shortlisted for Deloitte USI. It involved two tech rounds and an HR round to discuss salary expectations, etc.
Both tech rounds happened on the same day. The first interview felt like a conversation rather than an interview. The interviewer asked me about my projects in my previous organization, and then I received a call after some time stating that I'm shortlisted for the second round.
The second round was mostly aligned with architectural questions and how to handle outliers while designing ETL pipelines.
Questions
About the project, its requirements, and your responsibilities in it.
Cost optimization techniques in BigQuery and how many were used in your project.
SQL questions, related to window functions, the behavior of the COUNT function with null values, and the architecture of BigQuery.
The interviewer asked me to create an end-to-end Cloud Composer DAG from import statements to the sequencing of tasks.
Design a data pipeline using any stack in GCP, but it should involve the use of Cloud Functions.
