Process

The interview process has 3 rounds:

  1. Technical round
  2. Technical round
  3. Round with a senior manager

They have scheduled all rounds on the same day, and I have received a pre-hire survey mail on the same day. I will see how long it will take to get everything in place. HRs won't respond, nor do they pick up your calls. But process-wise, they have scheduled it in a very smooth way, provided invites on time, and scheduled as per your flexibility as well.

Questions

Selenium: Soft Assert, Hard Assert, Data selection in Calendar, Excel iteration then send values to text box, Drop-down selection not having access to DOM.

Java concepts: Abstraction, Interface, Class methods, and inheritance.

In the managerial round, they also asked 2-3 questions related to Selenium and situation-based questions, like any challenges faced, about the process we follow, and framework explanation.

In Round 2, mostly manual testing questions like regression, smoke, and how we identify what can be automated. How do you give story points?
