Nailed the technical test, and then they came back with an offer $300 dollars lower than the original daily rate that was on offer. Completely disrespected me and my time. I will be sure to let everyone I know to steer clear of these clowns. Great way to ruin your reputation, way to go Deloitte!

Pros: Fantastic benefits, especially PTO and maternity/paternity leave. A performance-based bonus system that mostly seems fair. Lots of experience and varied projects at large and well-known corporations. The culture of the company is also respectable and generally non-toxic. Travel (if you enjoy it).

Cons: Projects tend to be under-budgeted and over-scoped since some Senior Managers can be yes-men to the clients or sell pipe dreams before considering implementation. It's not uncommon to be in high-stress scenarios and have to work on a single laptop screen in a windowless room at a client site. Travel is fun at first, but it gets tedious and consumes a lot of time for something that is more for optics than practicality.
